Description:

As part of this client’s drive to improve environmental performance and efficiency, and to reduce heating costs across a large, multi-building site, Pruce Newman were appointed as Principal Contractor to design, fabricate and install a thermal storage system which incorporated 2x 100m³ pressure vessels.

We provided full Health and Safety and subcontractor management, including the provision of Appointed Persons to supervise the complex lift of these two vessels into position in a site with restricted access. Components were fabricated off site, and the installation of the vessels, associated pipework and structural steel supports was undertaken by our multi-skilled site team.
