Since our beginnings in Essex over 40 years ago, Pruce Newman has grown from the small firm established by John Pruce and Brian Newman to become one of the premier fabrication companies in the South and East of England. Still a family business, and staying true to our core values of Quality, Safety and Trust, we’ve shown consistent growth over the last 40 years and now employ approximately 120 people from our bases in Norfolk and Essex.

WE DELIVER QUALITY
Our Quality Management Systems are accredited to ISO 9001:2015, and our Environmental Management Systems are accredited to ISO 14001:2015 – proof that we take our business, and our impact on the environment, seriously. We hold specific accreditation for our Welding Quality Management Systems to ISO 3834, and have certification for the manufacture of structural steelwork to BS EN 1090 Execution Class III, meaning that we can provide CE-marked structures for the majority of applications.
WE EPITOMISE SAFETY
Our Safety Management Systems are certified to OHSAS 18001, and we hold accreditation from the British Safety Council, CHAS, SafeContractor, ConstructionLine, Achilles UVDB and FPAL. We regularly act as Principal Contractor under CDM2015, and have competent Appointed Persons in house to manage lifting operations. In addition to CSCS cards, our site staff hold IOSH Working Safely qualifications, our Senior Operatives and Contracts Engineers hold IOSH Managing Safely qualifications, and our Senior Management and Directors hold NEBOSH Certificate qualifications. In addition, all our supervisors complete an 11-day ECITB Supervisor’s Training Course.

MEET THE TEAM
Graham joined Pruce Newman as a Trainee Pipefitter in 1984, and has progressed through the ranks of Contract Engineer, Area Manager and Operations Director before becoming MD. He has led Pruce Newman through a number of years of sustainable growth, and is focussed on delivering greater success in the future.
Alan began his varied career with us in 1985 as a trainee craftsman, before moving into the roles of Contracts Engineer and Area Manager, and becoming a Director in 1994. Alan’s main focus is the management of our Key Accounts in the East of England, leading our relationships with some of the best known names in the region.
Tim joined us as a Contracts Engineer in 1990, having completed a BEng(Hons) in Civil Engineering at Birmingham University. After a successful time as Southern Area Manager, he took up his current role in 2001. In addition to managing some of our key client accounts, Tim has particular responsibility for Quality and Safety Compliance across the business.
Darren joined Pruce Newman in 1999 as a Contracts Engineer, and progressed to Contracts Manager and Project Manager roles. Darren has significant experience in managing complex, high-value projects for Pruce Newman and other leading contractors, and now heads Pruce Newman’s Projects and Fabrications divisions.
Jamie joined Pruce Newman as a craftsman in 1999, with particular skills in pipe welding, and has developed his career with the business in roles such as Site Supervisor, Contracts Engineer, Area Manager and now Director, with responsibility for Pruce Newman’s operations in the South of England.
ACCOUNTS & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
Ange leads our finance and administration teams, including payroll, accounts and business support.
Dave is responsible for managing Health and Safety within Pruce Newman, and for our HR functions.
Keith is responsible for Quality and Environmental Management within Pruce Newman, and is our International Welding Engineer.
MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Gareth is responsible for all of Pruce Newman’s sales and marketing activities, and for the development of our IT infrastructure and support services.
