“It has been an ambition of mine for many year to be both a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of The Welding Institute. Having achieved CEng some years ago, it has only been with the continuing support of my employer Pruce Newman that I have been able to undertake the required professional development necessary to maintain CEng and Certified International/European Welding Engineer. Pruce Newman have also supported me with the volunteering work that I undertake for The Welding Institute, assessing candidates applying to be Engineers, Technicians and Members and once again sitting on their Membership, Education and Registration Committee (MERC)”
