OUR STRATEGY
The last 5 - 10 years has seen a large growth in the Sub-Contract, Partnering and Turnkey project management markets therefore we have developed and strengthened our structure in order that our traditional philosophies may interact with modern techniques and methods of management so that we are strong, capable and successful.
We have been able to operate on a basis of non-confrontation, co-operation, flexibility, timely completions and high quality.
It is believed the way forward is to maintain a willingness to partner with clients and create the correct environment for shared advantages.
For our own business this will open further opportunities to enhance resource and profitability.
QUALITY
Pruce Newman runs a ‘Quality Management System’ (QMS) - which is controlled by the Q.A. Manager. The Quality and very functional Procedures Manuals are essential documents and cover areas of:
Contracting, Quality, Purchasing, Product ID, Processes, Inspection and Testing, Storage and Training.
Pruce Newman is a ISO 9001 Registered Firm.
SAFETY / TRAINING
Safety fast became a top priority with PN several years ago. All Contract Engineers, Managers and Directors have completed the CITB Site Safety Management Training. Three Management staff (including one Director) have successfully completed the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health.
We have a very high standard for safety and run our own inductions as well as conforming to any specific client requirements. A formal Safety Policy is in place and all jobs take on personalised risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe practices are maintained in the work place. Where applicable C.O.S.S.H. is strictly applied.
We run our own safety courses and tool box talks as well as sending site and office staff on external courses such as Fire Marshalling, First Aid, Fork Lift Truck, Overhead Cranes and Rigging, Slinging, Appointed Banks man and Mobile Towers, etc.
We also have employees that are trained in dangerous waste carriage, breathing apparatus, confined spaces, A/water green card, butt/electro fusion jointing, pats testing, DX cartridge tools, horizontal band saw and fragile roofs, etc.
